Navigating the Growth Journey: Lessons Learned from Scaling WinRate Consulting
Growing a company isn’t easy, and I’ve realized I only know a fraction of what it takes to build WinRate Consulting into what it is today. In 2023, our team, including myself, learned an incredible amount about what we thought we had under control. Operating with a small team of 3 meant everyone wore multiple hats, while scaling to a team of 15 required relinquishing control, evolving as a leader, and trusting others to take on tasks that were once solely mine.
Embracing Change: Overcoming Control and FOMO Challenges as a Type A Leader
For those of us who are Type A personalities, letting go of control and dealing with the fear of missing out (#FOMOisREAL) has been an immense challenge. I’ve had to learn to allow others to fill my gaps, even when it’s difficult to relinquish control. Setting personal boundaries has become crucial for my own sanity and to ensure I can show up where I’m truly needed for my team and family.

Learning not to overcommit and trusting others to excel in areas where I fall short has been a journey—one that I’m still navigating. Despite the challenges, our incredible team at WinRate Consulting makes everything look effortless. But behind the scenes, there are struggles, tears, and frustrations that come with the territory.
If you saw a day in the Claudio household, you might wonder if it’s all worth it. But without a doubt, it is. Despite the hardships, there’s nothing else I’d rather do, and no team I’d rather do it with than the one we have at WinRate Consulting.
As we continue to move into 2024, I’m excited to see how we leverage the lessons learned in 2023 to propel us forward to Win Fast and Win Often!
