Social Media for Business Development
There are a lot of ways to do this and I am going to break it down into 3 categories I will cover this week.
1. Outbound Engagement
2. Storytelling
3. Video Content
I don’t think this is a one trick type situation.Social media is incredibly powerful but it is also a crowded environment so you need to find a way to stand out.
In my opinion the above 3 activities are the most important.
But before we get into that I need you to sit down and spend some time writing down the biggest problems you solve for your best clients. This problem needs to be an emotional problem.
For example, if you do kitchen remodels the problem you solve is they are embarrassed to have friends and family over not they have ugly cabinets.
Ugly cabinets are the cause of why they are embarrassed. If it wasn’t for the embarrassment they would not care about the cabinet and in turn they would not have a problem worth spending money to fix…
People only pay money to solve problems.
And the size of the problems you solve directly relates to the compensation you will get for the solution.
I don’t care if you are a handyman, carpet cleaner, roofer, remodeler, builder.
You solve problems and you need to get really clear on this so when I give you advice on the things to do on social media it will make more sense and be easier to implement.
What is the top problem you believe you solve for your clients? Email me at mike@winrateconsulting.com and I will give you feedback.
I promise I wont blast you if you are wrong. This is an incredibly important part of any business development strategy and I want to help!
